Use in traumatology and orthopedics

In traumatology and orthopedics, Plasmolifting™ technology is used to stimulate and control the tissue repair processes.

During the procedure performed with Plasmolifting™ technology, autologous plasma is extracted from blood and subsequently injected into the soft tissues surrounding an affected joint, as well as directly into this joint. Autologous plasma obtained with Plasmolifting™ technology inhibits inflammation, reduces pain sensation and restore range of motion in the treated joints. As part of combination therapy, it allows to reduce the dosage of medications or eliminate their use altogether, thereby minimizing toxic side effects associated with high and prolonged drug dosage. Moreover, autologous plasma injections cut treatment time in half.

Indications for use:

  • Arthritis and deforming arthrosis
  • Bone resorption
  • Muscle spasms affecting the neck, shoulder, back or legs
  • Osteochondritis of the spine
  • Rehabilitation following an orthopedic surgery or injury

Plasmolifting™ technology, when used in traumatology and orthopedics, helps:

  • Provide relief from muscle spasms
  • Soothe pain
  • Increase the production of natural lubricating fluid in the joint
  • Activate circulation to increase blood supply to the damaged joint
  • Stimulate the formation of new cartilage
  • Strengthen muscles surrounding the damaged joint
  • Increase joint mobility
  • Shorten the recovery period after injures, surgery and joint replacement
